Mechanical Design Engineer (f/m/d) – SOLIDWORKS® Development and Design of Mechanical Assemblies in a High-Tech Environment

At R&K Technologies, we develop systems for generating, controlling and applying electron and particle beams, for research and industry partners around the world.
We are looking for mechanical design engineers to support the development and construction of highly precise assemblies, ideally with experience in special-purpose machinery or vacuum systems.

Whether you’re a recent graduate or bring years of industry experience, what matters most is your motivation to think critically, help shape innovation and work with precision.

• Development and mechanical design of high-precision assemblies using SOLIDWORKS®

• Integration of mechanical assemblies into the overall development of electronic products

• Close collaboration with physics and electronics teams throughout the development process

• Documentation and presentation of your work in both German and English

• Degree or completed vocational training in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, precision engineering or a related field

• Practical experience in designing and developing mechanical precision assemblies

• Confident user of SOLIDWORKS®

• Experience with SOLIDWORKS® Simulation is a plus

• Strong technical understanding and spatial visualization skills

• Passion for turning technical ideas into practical solutions

• Independent, structured work style

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and German
